Main Rules

Under Latvian law, the owner of an online shop must specify the terms of delivery and return of goods, as well as the right of withdrawal. Such a clause is called a distance contract (MK noteikumi).

Distance agreement 

SmartFeet RIX SIA, Reg.No.: 40203307684, legal address Vasarnīcu iela 1b dz.3, Saulkrasti, LV-2160, on the one hand, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, and the person placing the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, on the other hand, enter into the following Contract:

The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver to the Buyer the Goods in accordance with the Buyer's order.

Delivery and payment arrangements

The Buyer orders the goods through this website, specifying the type and quantity of goods to be ordered.  The currency of payment on the website is the euro. The purchase can be paid for by selecting the following payment methods provided by the payment platform makecommerce.lv , Maksekeskus AS or PayPal:

  • Latvian online banking payments.
  • Visa/Mastercard card payments

The Buyer has the option to pay for the goods using the payment tools embedded in the Online Shop or by paying the invoice prepared by the Seller and sent to the Buyer by e-mail corresponding to the order. The invoice shall be drawn up electronically and shall be valid without signature.

NB: When using the online banking payment method, confirm the order and click on the "Return to merchant" button.

The personal data required for payment is transferred to the licensed payment institution Maksekeskus AS.

The Contract shall become effective upon successful payment to the online shop's bank account. If for any reason the order cannot be fulfilled, the Buyer will be notified and the amount paid will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after notification.

Purchased goods are delivered via: parcel partner, courier, pick-up from store. All duties and taxes payable in order to receive the parcel at the delivery destination shall be borne by the Buyer. The delivery costs are displayed before the order is confirmed. Purchased goods are delivered to the address indicated by the Buyer within 2-3 working days. In exceptional cases, we have the right to dispatch the goods up to 45 calendar days, upon informing the customer.

Right of withdrawal

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the Goods within 14 calendar days of receipt of the Goods by sending a letter of withdrawal to the Seller. The Seller shall send the form of the cancellation letter to the Buyer by e-mail at the Buyer's request.
The Buyer shall return the Goods to the Seller within 7 days of the date of the letter of withdrawal. Any costs incurred in returning the goods to the Seller shall be borne by the Buyer.


The Buyer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if:

  • the nature of the goods ordered means they cannot be returned, or are perishable or expendable;
  • the goods ordered are made directly for the Buyer to order;

Section 12(6) of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia states that "the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the period of exercising the right of withdrawal". The Seller reserves the right to refuse the Buyer to exercise the right of withdrawal or to withhold the refund fee in the event that the goods have been damaged by negligent handling or failure to follow instructions during use, if the original packaging of the goods has been lost or if the packaging of the goods is substantially damaged.

The Seller shall be entitled to withhold payment until it has received the Goods or proof of return from the Buyer. If the Buyer has chosen a shipping method other than the cheapest shipping method offered by the Online Shop, the Online Shop shall not be obliged to compensate the excess shipping costs.

The Online Shop shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations or any other failure to perform caused by circumstances and obstacles beyond its reasonable control.

The Online Shop reserves the right to refuse to sell the goods and to demand the return of the goods from the Buyer if the price indicated on the Online Shop is significantly lower than its market price due to an error.

Data processing

By entering the necessary information and placing an order, the Buyer confirms that he/she is familiar with and agrees that the data provided by him/her shall be used to enable the Seller to accept the Buyer's order and deliver the goods in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Latvia. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees to receive notifications related to the processing of the Buyer's order to the e-mail address provided.

The Online Shop processes only the personal data entered by the Buyer when ordering goods, such as name, surname, e-mail, etc.

The Online Shop transfers personal data to the transport service provider(s) in order to ensure delivery of the goods.

If you have expressly agreed to receive our marketing communications, including newsletters, we may contact you from time to time with information about our services and latest offers. For this purpose, we may process the email address you provided when you signed up for marketing communications. You have the option to opt-out of marketing communications by notifying us at [email protected]

Dispute resolution

In matters not covered by these Terms and Conditions, the Buyer and the Seller undertake to comply with the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia.

The Parties shall resolve any disputes arising between the Seller and the Buyer by means of mutual negotiations or correspondence. If the dispute cannot be resolved by negotiation or correspondence, the Parties shall settle the dispute in the courts of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes between the Buyer (consumer) and the Seller may be referred to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre or to a court of the Republic of Latvia.

The Buyer shall also have the right to apply to the dispute settlement bodies of the European Union.
